RT11 boot ?

I have an old 11/04  with RX01 and some RT-11 floppies. When I try to
boot I get the message ?NO-BOOT-ON-VOLUME or something similar. Is there
some way to boot the piece of junk from the console by entering a small
program a-la UN*X v7 ? Thanks for any suggestion.
