This is a posting for someone who is disconnected.
I have been contacted by an individual at Singer, who is looking for
help configuring a systems to be used for real-time (time critical)
data collection and analysis. The system is to be a local network of
microVaxen, running either Ultrix or VMS.
To complicate matters, this system is going to be exported, to the
Soviet Union, which limits some of the options these folks have.
