Should have mentioned that I ran xhost on the server - this allowed me to get "dxwm" going but it didn't alter "dxsession" falling over with "SetAccessControl" failure on the seerver. John Gilmour ACSnet[Internet]: j.gilmour@trl.OZ[.AU]
