We are considering selling our MasPar (model MP-1102C, SIMD architecture, 2048 x 4bits processors, 16k per processing element, toroid connection in a 64x32 grid). It includes two main boxes: the parallel unit itself (called DPU by MasPar) (42"H x 18.5"W x 32.5"D) and a front end (a DEC station 5000/200). The machine is particularly well suited for image processing and comes with an esay-to-use "parallel" debugger. The programmation of the parallel unit is done in a language very close to C and is well documented.
