Please forgive my utter ignorance of Boston area geography, it's been 16 years.

More than likely it was the INNER loop, I-95, but for all I know it could have
been Rte. 27.  Whichever, it was near the intersection with Route 2.
More than likely, it wasn't Maynard, you're probably right.
But it WAS a DEC building, on a hill overlooking the highway, to the east.  Is
or was there an office on the east side of I-95 near Route 2?  Waltham,
possibly, near the Cambridge Reservoir?  Sorry for the sketchy memory.
