I'm not 100% certain, but I think that the WS-200 was a multi-user, shared logic word processing system based on the PDP-8 with RL02 disks using VT52s as the display devices. The single user, floppy based member of the family was the WS-78. These machines are over 10 years old at this point. I believe that Shaftsall is a currently a producer of document format conversion software. Perhaps they used to make dedicated black-boxes which would do floppy conversion between different word processing formats? -- Tom Morris morris@galvia.enet.dec.com Digital Equipment, Mervue Industrial Estate DTN 890-2155 Galway, Ireland Tel. +353 91 51271
