There is a jumper which specifies if it should spin up on power on or
only one command. DEC sets it to spin on command, Sun expects the drives
to be spinning by the time their SCSI controller accesses it. I seem
to recall that the RZ55 is a Micropolis drive, so if you can get a data
sheet for a micropolis drive of similar size (5.25", 300+M) it should
detail the jumper settings.
