   I'm trying to load the Alpha AXP Systems Firmware update v2.7
from CDROM but it isn't working. I set the os_type variable to
"flash" and then rebooted, but when I give the next command:

  >>> b -fl 0,80 dkb500

   it always fails with the response "84 FAIL". What does
that mean? I tried setting the os_type variable to "VMS" but
that didn't help.  

   Anyone know what is wrong???
