I am in process of selecting hardware and NOS for new accounting,
manufacturing, distribution software package that runs on Oracle7 and is
written entirely in Designer/Developer 2000. Can anyone provide
advice/comments on advantages and disadvantages of a DEC Alpha machine over,
say, a Compaq Intel-based machine?

Also, advantages and disadvantes of UNIX vs. NT on said machines?

Any feedback is much appreciated!!
