Intel Pentiums are severely slowed by the old bottleneck 66Mhz bus.
An old AlphaServer 2100A 5/250 4 cpu system with 128 bit bus
blows the socks off any Intel machine that will be out for the next
year or so.  Today you can buy the new Alpha PC 600Mhz with a
200Mhz bus.  When will Intel even have have a 100Mhz bus?

Unless you go with Pentium Pro, adding more than 64Mb to an
Intel system makes it go slower due to Intel stupid Tag ram limits.

Intel has supposed to have have fixed problems with multiple cpu's
but I haven't seen the data.  A year ago, a 8 cpu Intel pentium system
was slower than a 2 cpu system!

Why doesn't DEC advertise all this????
