Has anyone tried using a standard Sun shoebox disk with a VAXstation
or DECstation 3100 ? Sun already provides a cable which will adapt the
older, larger "D" connector on the shoebox to the newer minature version
used by both the new Suns and the VAXes. The plugs fit, so one might be
tempted to try it.
Why would I want to do this ? We have VS3100s with too few disks
and Suns with too many.
Thanks,
Bob Armstrong
