Wanted: ONCRPC-Sources for Alpha (Digital Unix)

Hi there,

does anybody know if theres a possibility to get 64bit-clean ONCRPC
sources? I would need them for my thesis work (Asynchronous rpcs with
ONCRPC).

At the moment Im working with the ONCRPC-4.0 sources, but on our alphas
(Digital Unix 3.2c) the headers of the rpc-includes are like
"Revision:4.2.7.2 (DEC) Date: 1993/06/08".

I would greatly appreciate any help getting those sources, because I
have some big problems porting the 4.0 sources to alpha.

Thanks a lot,

        Tom.

P.S.: We do have to use ONCRPC.. ;]

The revision headers we use have nothing to do with Sun's. Plus, the
RCS number get bumped for several little things. Some of the bigger
things are threads-safeness.

They're only available to folks with source licenses. I did hack up
a set of prisitine Sun code one afternoon with an eye to posting it
as part of a NFS unit test program. 90% of the changes are to to make
things like xdr_long() take a long (64 bits) but only encode 32.

Also, I guess there were a number of places (xdr_enum(), for example)
that calls xdr_long() instead of xdr_int(). Maybe it made sense at the
time.
