I have a quantum 4300 4.3Gb hard drive.
This is a very good drive.
I have only had it for a month but it seems to work fine.
I did run it for a day without cooling.
It ran at 45 degrees C when it's max operating temperature is 55 degrees C
I have now put a fan blowing on the drive and it's temperature down to
30 degrees C, which should increase it's life span and reliablilty.
