Hello folks, I've got an old HP Apollo Series 400 workstation, the label on it's back says it a Type 425t, seems to be a nice computer. The only problem i got is that no one knows the root password. Is there a possibility to get the box booting in single user mode without asking for a password? While boot with the service knob pressed there is some output: MD11 REV 1.95 1990/12/12.14.35.26 BOOTROM Rev. 2.0 29 NOV 90 # And then it is waiting for some input, there is is an option to boot the computer, but i've no docs, so i don't no what to do. Plase help TIA philipp /----------------------------------------------------------\ | Philipp Grau | grau@berlin.snafu.de | The answer is: 42 | | | phgrau@piak.snafu.de | | \----------------------------------------------------------/
