I'm running exactly the same setup and I'm having exactly the same
problem. 

I phoned HP and they didn't have a clue about what the problem was.
It's very frustrating. Like you, I tried every setup stiing
imaginable, all to no avail.

I have no problem with any other fax machine. The trouble is that the
HP is the one at the office and, consequently, the one I need the
most.

Hopefully, the someone from HP will check this group and come up with
some solution, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that happening.
