HP 3000 and HP 1000 users, we have a question for you. Strobe Data is a
company in Redmond WA which designs and sells hardware "emulations" of
minicomputers in the form of PC add-in cards. One of our products is a
DEC PDP-11 computer clone, another replaces Data General's 16-bit minis
(Nova and Eclipse). Should we offer an HP 1000 or HP 3000 as a PCI bus
card for Wintel systems?

Would that include RTE [-A/6VM] and MPE [XL] as the OS,
or would the user be responsible for making that run?
Having a PC/1000 or a PC/3000 would be worthless without
a viable operating system.

If it came with the OS, and HP standard tools would run
on it with no modification [FTN, IMAGE, POWERHOUSE, etc.]
it would be quite useful.
