we are using LVM on hpux 10.2. 3 volume groups. this morning a physical crashed and it is impossible to make it run again normally. We cannot access it. I have remove it from the scsi chain and it is impossible to remove it with vgreduce, lvremove ... it failed ! If i want to remove it from lvmtab, does somebody succeded in doing that ? What are the procedures to follow if a disk crash and i want to remove it definitevely or replace it ? after a hardware crash it is very important ! thank you very much, sincerly, pmarcel@hpcitco01.cern.ch philippe.marcel@cern.ch
