Hello,
We are currenly porting C and C++ code from the IBM AIX system
to the 800 series HP-UX 10.0 System. We are experiencing compiler
problems with this port and wish to use the HP-UX debugger DDE
to help us. I have a few questions on the use of the DDE debugger:
1) How do you attach to a running process.
2) How do you view source code for shared libraries. Specifically
how to you view source that is not in the current working
directory?
3) How do you set break points?
4) Does this debugger work for C++ and Templates?
5) Is there any indepentent documentation on how to use DDE?
6) Are there any other debuggers available for HP-UX? I've
heard of xdb... does anyone know where I can find docs
on the use of xdb?
Thanks for any help...
