Known bugs with HP C++ A.03.07 ?

We are currently using the HP C++ cfront compiler (A.03.07) on HP-UX
version A.09.05 and have had numerous problems with it and with the
debugger. We have already made adjustments to avoid known compiler bugs
(such as problems with inlined code).

The problems we know about we found ourselves. No doubt, there are
others. Is there an archive of known bugs with this compiler/debugger?

TIA

I would _REALLY_ appreciate any information anyone has on this... I've been
beating my head on the HPUX wall all week. I'm getting weird compiler bugs
like:

internal error: Malloc: underflow detected in free(). (7815)

and

internal error: unknown message (4200)

and even once

Not enough user virtual memory (5707)

(that one seems clearly my problem).

Does anybody recognize these? I wonder if any of these are fixed in the
(recently recalled) 10.x HPUX version.

Thanks much,

Are you sure you are using 3.07, or are you using 3.70?

3.70 has numerous problems with exceptions. Most of these
problems are fixed in 3.72. 3.72 is included in PHSS_6204.

I have not had any problems with inlined code nor with the
debugger. What problems have you had?

I have posted two recent bugs I've found to this newsgroup.
You should most likely be able to still read them. If you
can't find them I can send you a copy.

I do not recognize them but you should checkout the patches available.

The patches beginning with PHSS apply.
