MS Word for Windows 6.0a and 6.0, U.S. and Swedish versions,
cannot save Word 6.0 documents to our HP LanManX network. Yet,
Word 6.0 can save in other file formats on network drives.
VSHARE.386 is loaded on the MS Windows 3.1/3.11 client side.

Microsoft Support, Sweden, suggests increasing the range-
locking settings for the network, and our system administrator
has tried setting INTERLOCKING=YES and MAXLOCKS=0, 96, and 200
with no success. MAXLOCKS=200 is the maximum setting allowed.
Our network configuration is:

Server:
HP-UX 9.01
LanManX 1.4

Clients:
LanManager 2.1
LanManager 2.2
Windows for Workgroups 3.11

Does anybody have a pointer to a possible solution, or is
anyone else working on a similar problem?
