The Asset Management arm of one of Wall Street's largest Investment Banks is currently seeking two HP-UX Systems Administrators to support a new front office trading operation. The group is being formed to support a brand new project that will involve the set up of the initial infrastructure and then supporting the system in production, as well as, assisting the development group on HP-UX issues. The system will be built using 5 HP-UX servers and 50 HP and PC clients. Candidates must have a strong Systems Admin background, having gained experience in a fast paced environment. Your background does not need to be in finance but it will help. You must have hands-on skills with HP-UX 9.x and 10.x with any of the following: OS Upgrades Server Tuning Security (Firewall 1 etc....) Planning HP Openview Netscape/Java/Apache These positions offer the opportunity for experienced HP SA's to work on a new and interesting project. These are contract only positions. 6 month minimum contract. Project projected to run 18 to 24 months. 1099 or W2 Welcome. Based in downtown Manhattan/Wall Street Area.
