Even when they did support was pretty appaling. We bought the last version
of GEM Artline direct from them, and found it had a few very irritaing bugs.
The support line's reaction was "Well, we can give you a refund then.". I took
the offer and went to Corel.

Yes, they are. Novell have an FTP site - ftp.novell.com, but I haven't
spotted anything for GEM there (mind you, I wasn't looking). Try Emailing
support@novell.com or maybe the postmaster. They do have a tendency to
prefer supporting things via Compu$erve, though :-(
