Job Description:

Major Financial Service Company seeks a Data Analyst Consultant
experienced with Data quality assurance, data comparisons, data
validation, basic programming (Visual Basic, SQL, scripts) and
exception analysis. Consultant will be responsible for creating
maintaining automated data validation processes, defining Validation
Plan(s) and test scenarios, creating detailed validation approaches,
execute test scripts, validates results, report discrepancies and
follow through to ensure all issues are resolved.

Requirements:

Position requires someone who is a highly motivated individual with
excellent analytical skills dedicated to complete tasks on schedule.
Required experience: strong understanding of Data Analysis; solid
knowledge of Data Warehouse principles; understanding of
relational/dimensional databases, source data capture, data
integrity and data integration; current experience with MS Access.
Visual Basic, Oracle SQL; proven ability to trace, verify and
validate data elements thru various stages and transformation in a
series of related systems; ability to develop and maintain automated
and reusable routines to compare and validate sets of data; experience
assisting developers in identifying program and/or
systems error; and ability to create SQL queries to analyze client
data sets. Position also requires excellent oral and written
communication skills.
