Hi netters, In less than a week, I'm suppose to give a lesson on different kinds of monitors that's out there. (i.e interlaced, non-int., low radiation, flat screen, non-glare) Specifically, on NEC 3FGx and Optiquest 2000 monitors I'm somewhat already familiar with difference in interlace/non-int. monitor. Difference being refresh rates. Could someone explain to me the technical side of what the difference is? I heard someone say that interlaced monitor draws every other line where as non-interlaced monitor will do every line? What would be the effect on these non-interlaced monitor under florescent lights that operates at 60 Hz? Also on the flat screen monitors, the advantage of having that would be the clear edges or is it clear corners? And last of all, that Swedish Standard that is known to be very strict (name escapes me), could someone list those requirements? Thank you to all those replies. power@uhunix.uhcc.hawaii.edu
