Has anyone ever gotten GLExcess to run properly on a Voodoo3?

I've tried several different drivers (WinXP) and different opengl32.dll's.
The demo either crashes, refuses to run, or has missing graphics. Am I
wasting my time?

interesting, he, he

this is possible under XP

you could use Mesa, extract opengl32.dll into your system directory
c:\windows\system)

but make a backup your existing OpenGL driver(Just copy your
opengl32.dll file (located in c:\windows\system) to any other folder
(for example c:\windows\temp) or rename the existing one (for example
xx.bak)

I ran the demo with my V3 3000 ! enjoy, this is really beautiful and a
big sound system is recommended !

I use the Amigamerlin 1.6 for V3/4/5 (i am under Win98SE)

there is a little bug at the run but this is not really awkward

but you must have a sound card installed otherwise the demo doesn't
run

about your drivers, try the last Amigamerlin v2.5 WIn2K/XP V3/4/5

I forgot : a big "bug" with the demo, version 1.2 : the cubes in the
space => i don't see the textures but if you use the old version 1.1,
no problem !
