Hello, Got my hands on TOTSC here in Australia yesterday. Upon clicking on "Play", was greeted with the message "This version runs only in Canada and the USA" or words to that effect. After about 30 seconds of mild panic, I just changed the Languages in the Regional Settings to English(US), and got it working. The problem with this is that the change affects certain properties (dates, etc) of other applications. So what I want to know is, is there another way of getting around this, or is there a patch available? disgruntled, ts

I know how you feel. I work in a computer games store and we've spent the last couple of days dealing with disgruntled customers who cant get their games to work properly. Not much fun I can assure you. I know some of the guys that worked on Baldurs Gate post to this ng so I'd also like to use this opportunity to let you know exactly how much this sucks and how annoyed the Australian public are when a product is released in this condition. I know Australia is not considered a big money-spinner compared to other regions of the world but I'd like to assure everyone that works at Interplay and Black Isle that I'll think twice before buying or recommending one of your products in future. There you can change all the settings (currency, date format, etc.) individually, but the system will still let you play Baldur's Gate.
