I was kinda dissappointed that it was the instrumental version myself.

It's not a FF8 movie...it's just called the Final Fantasy Movie, and
it's full CGI of course. From the screens I've seen of it, well, the
CGI in FF Movie whomps the CGI in FF8.

www.rpgamer.com should have all of the FF Movie screens.

Anyway, Pixar should be scared...very scared.

It's a 5 min 40 second full vocal music video, completely computer
generated... the animations and facial expressions are motion captured
tho... but this kicks any animated movie's ass.... Antz, Bug's Life,
u name it... they get beaten, trodden...

The other piece of good news is that there actually is a FF8 full length
CG movie.... coming soon...

The song in FF8 isn't J-Pop.... the singer isn't even Japanese...
but stuff the music, just enjoy the CG... :-)

He's talking about "Small Two of Pieces", I believe, and that was done,
IIRC, by a celtic (Irish mebbe?) group, in English, not J-Pop. I think it
was the ending song for Xenogears (I didn't finish the game :-( ). I'm
d/ling the mpeg now to listen to Eyes on Me.
