Q: Digital VIDEO extraction from CD

Hi!
I was hoping someone could help me...

Problem:
I want to rip a .dat file off a VideoCD, onto my HD.
However, when I try copying it in windows, it stops after 50Mb.
So I tried in AudioGrabber, where again, it works OK for 50Mb, then
stops with a message about Scsi1hlp when using MSCDEX, and with an ASPI
error when using (you guessed it) ASPI.
Note that the VideoCD plays fine, I have plenty of HD space + a fast
enough system (I hope - P300, 48Mb) to cope with the data rate.

So:
Is this some kind of copy protection?
Is this a problem with my Pioneer DVD 103s?
Is there some software to do this?

Thanks for any help,
Kieran
