Unfortunately, I have one of these beasties lying around and it has to be installed. What I do know: it's a singlespin SCSI-1 device. What I don't know: 1. jumper settings to change SCSI ID numbers 2. anything else I have to do other than yank out the resistor paks to remove termination 3. does this thing work with more modern SCSI HBAs (e.g. Adaptec, DTC, DPT) or do I have to keep that Corel controller around? Any help greatly appreciated. - ivan ================================================================== Ivan T. Should work; suck it and see. Adaptec SCSI controllers come with a SCSI interrogator program that will tell you what it finds on the SCSI bus and a what id. So a little experimenting should determine the jumper settings. N.B. if you change jumpers you will likely need to power down again before the changes are recognised. In all likelihood the jumpers were already set to something sensible.

It's good for playing audio stuff, good sound output :-)

I don't recall the exact location but it's should be very easy to guess at it.
You only have 3 jumpers to play with.
let say the left is bit 0 and the right most is bit 2
no jumper installed = id 0
bit 1 shorted = 1
bit 2 shorted = 2
bit 3 shorted = 4
bit 1 + bit 2 shorted = 3
....

If you want to unterminate than that's it.

Yes, works with Future Domain and adaptec boards.
