: I was thinking of buying a Sanyo CRD-254SH 4x scsi cdrom.
: Price seems good - $169, new, 1yr warranty.
Basically, I'm interested in any comments on good 4x SCSI drives which are
around the $200 mark.

I can get a Sony CSD76SB 4X SCSI from Egghead for $229 [and I'm sure I can
find it mail order for cheaper]. Anyone have any comments on the Sony ?

Ideally I'd like a Toshiba 4x scsi, but they seem to be around the $280-300
mark.

Primarily going to be using it with FreeBSD Unix, some Win95 also.
