Does anyone know of any software that will allow me to extract audio tracks (in a format suitable for burning) from an IDE CD drive at 24 speed? Please cc your replies to my email address. (Remove the NOSPAM) Thanks Chris cpluton@mail.act.apana.org.au

That is normally a question of if your drive will support it. I have a memorex 242e(24x)and I use nti cd maker pro which came with my mem1622 and upgraded it on line. I had no problem extracting audio cpluton@NOSPAMmail.act.apana.org.au wrote in message <349ea8c6.9056802@firewall>... >Does anyone know of any software that will allow me to extract audio >tracks (in a format suitable for burning) from an IDE CD drive at 24 >speed? > >Please cc your replies to my email address. You sir are either behind the times.. or a scsi eliteist. Pioneer 12X
IDE extracts at 7-12X with no jitter correction needed. This unit cost me
$59US is DMA capable (intel BM drivers on mine) and is a real bargain.
