Hi I'm about to upgrade my P90 8M system to a much needed 16M.
After shopping around i have decided i am going to sell my old RAM
and buy 2 new 8M 72 pin 60ns SIMMS. Every store down here in oz at the
moment seems to be selling and pushing NIL parity ram as the thing to buy
but i seem to remember IBM's wanting / needing parity RAM..
Obviously this is not always the case. sooooo

Does anyone know if the Gigabyte 586ATE main board will accept nil
parity simms or do i need to buy FULL parity for the RAM to function
properly..
I read through the manual but couldnt find any mention regarding parity
and whether or not it is required.

Thanks for any info..
Please respond via email as i dont hit these groups often ;)

P.S.
Anyone know if Gigabyte has a net presence (email www etc) couldnt find one.
