cpu voltage converters -- SF Bay area?

Hi,

I thought it would be easy to walk into a store and buy a
5 to 3.3 volt cpu converter. A couple of tries didn't
work. So I resorted to the phone, and none of my favorite
wierd computer gizmo places either had them nor knew where
to get them.

I'd still prefer to just walk into a south or east bay store
and buy one, rather than mail order from Omaha or somewhere.

So: can anyone tell me who in south or east bay has them?
Or, anywhere in SF bay area?
Or, anywhere anywhere?

Thanks in advance,

Rem
