I also had an SBLive in my old system (ASUS A7V w/ KT133 chipset) and never 
had a problem with it.  I just made sure I had the latest mobo drivers 
before installing it.  I may not have a problem using the Audigy with the 
KT266A board, but after doing some more research I've decided to go with 
the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz for gaming and the Midiman Audiophile 2496 for 
my pro audio/MIDI recording.
