(Yes, I'm still using Win98.) The KT266A is supposedly much more stable, so maybe the Audigy will work OK? It may all come down to which motherboard to get. http://www.tomshardware.com gives a glowing if somewhat one-sided review of the Audigy (the review doesn't even mention the problems with the earlier SB's.) I'll think I'll wait for the KT266A motherboard reviews before making a final decision.
