I have the Intel Atlanta motherboard, and I can't install my ST31720A drive. After thousands of tests I found that with some connectors it was detected by the mobo in every time, but with some others it failed. Anyway, it will never work (detected or not ) because if I try to write something on it then a message tells me "write protection" etc... Bad luck with the disk...
