Well, that runs *exactly* opposite of what my investigations have
shown as I have shopped for a new motherboard. As I recall, the order
is this:

Worst: No cache and standard RAM.
Next:  No cache and EDO RAM: + 3%
Next:  PB cache and standard RAM: +12%
Next:  PB cache and EDO RAM:  +15%

It has come to my attention that EDO RAM, for its additional cost,
doesn't provide nearly as much bang for the buck as pipeline-burst
cache does. 

I would love to hear some authoritative discussion on this issue
before I buy RAM for the motherboard I'm about ready to order...
