I know I should already know this, but can someone tell me whether I can stick an Overdrive chip into a normal CPU socket? I currently have a Intel 486sx-25 and it looks like I may be able to get a Intel Overdrive 486sx2 chip (yes I mean sx) for a very reasonable price. My motherboard doesn't have a Overdrive socket so I was wondering whether I can just swap the chips. Any info greatly appreciated Neil +---------------------+------------------------+ | Neil Brown | a.k.a. support@aisb.ed | | Dept. of A.I. +------------------------+ | neilb@aisb.ed.ac.uk | My other sig is funny! | +---------------------+------------------------+
