Anyone have this combo working at 800/850 (100 Mhz FSB)? Are most of these CPU's capable of overclocking? Is one more likely to work than the other? tia, eddie

I have a BH6 1.0x running a 533a stably at 800. Using QN bios and Abit Slotket!!!. Check out the cpu database at www.overclockers.com and you'll see that nearly every 533a reported was able to run at or over 800. The odds are still high for the 566's, but it is less likely that with the 533a. I decided that 50Mhz wasn't a big deal as long as I could hit 800. There is a place in Fremont, CA that sells guaranteed OC'd chips, see www.atacom.com. Good luck. -John On Fri, 14 Jul 2000 spam@is.evil wrote: > Anyone have this combo working at 800/850 (100 Mhz FSB)? > > Are most of these CPU's capable of overclocking? > > Is one more likely to work than the other? > > tia, > > eddie > > > >
