Hi all,

I saw the K6-2 Quake 2 benchmarks on Tom's Hardware Page and was just
wondering if all 3Dfx Glide games get the same kind of performance increase.
What about 3Dfx Direct 3D and Open GL?

And a couple of other questions:

1. Can the K6-2 be used on an AOpen AP5T-3 ?
2. How far can each chip be overclocked and still be stable ?

Please email replies.
Thanks.

Check out the following taken from:

KryoTech's -400C cooling system; AMD-K6-2 processor (333MHz air cooled,
450MHz KryoCooled); ATX motherboard with 100MHz system bus and AGP; 300
Watt power supply; Custom ATX chassis with state-of-the-art thermal
management.

The Cool K6-2 provides thermally accelerated 3DNow! processing ideal for:

I think it is $500 extra, but it increases the performance by 35%, which
would give it 20% better performance than a PII 400 benchmarked on quake at:

Your board must support the 2.2V setting... check AOpen for a BIOs
update. Not sure for the AP5T but there are for others. As to O/C
welll the chips not really out yet, but we shall see.. ;)
