THE PC BIBLE FROM PEACHPIT PRESS (books)

A Bible for the PC World

November, 1994 - Berkeley, CA - Peachpit Press knows how to do Bibles.
Now they've taken the approach that has worked so well for The Macintosh
Bible (nearly a million copies of that book are currently in print) and
applied it to the PC world. The result is The PC Bible, a comprehensive
tome covering everything a PC user could ever possibly want/need to know
about hardware and software. Like The Macintosh Bible, this one is written
by a pantheon of experts - in this case, PC experts - who all have the
knack for writing dearly, engagingly, understandably, and often
entertainingly. From what to buy and how to find it, how to use it and how
to get the most out of it, The PC Bible covers it all. It's both a necessary
primer and an indispensable reference that's as useful to novices as it is
to experienced users.
