This doesn't have all the info you would like, but I'm at work (???) and the modem info is at home. Practical Peripherals (if they're still in business) has a 2400 EFMX modem that worked pretty well, for 2400 line speed-it would accept 9.6 dte speed. The downside is that it was ac powered (transformer & 110VAC) but when I was playing with it, it handled inbound calls from cell phones to a cell phone and regular line. The other company was Paradyne (AT&T). I ordered 4 of the pcmcia and 4 of the desktop. The desktops arrived after I quit the company, but I was told the desktops worked fine. I have one of the pcmcia in my pc and haven't had any real bad experiences; a couple of dropped calls that when the bill came, the call was credited as a dropped call. My sessions usually aren't more than 3 minutes. I don't recall the model number for the Paradyne, but AT&T change their model numbers with the weather, it seems...a call would give you the latest and greatest.
