well, thanks for the tip, but it's really not worth sinking any money into
that machine. It's a 10 year old 20 MHz 386 with memory, hard disk and
expansion card technology incompatible to what you get today. We really
have better computers standing around; so noone really depends on that
machine anyway.
I fitted the ethernet card, keyboard and monitor to an obsolte Model 50
(286, 1 MB RAM; but hey, since NCSA Telnet for DOS is all it runs who
needs more for that), put the RAM extension card into a Model 70 (which
we'll try to get running with OS/2) and the monster 70 MB harddisk into
another Model 80 (after figuring out how easily you can remove the front
panel :-)).
The rest will probably be scapped. Maybe someone can still make use of a
20 MHz Intel 386 and Coprocessor... :-)
