I encountered a scrambled disk when using INTERxxx. I was running IBM
DOS 5 on both machines, but using the INTERxxx files from PC-DOS 6.22.
There was no trouble on the INTERLNK end (the device driver), when
receiving files. But I also sent files over to the server (INTERSVR)
machine, and probably erased some too, with the result a scrambled disk.
Fortunately it was a RAM drive, not my real hard disk.

As you may understand, I'm reluctant to do much experimentation as a
scrambled HD is not much fun, so I have not tried to run down exactly what
determines whether it will malfunction.
