Well, imho the most straightforward (excluding Win95 dcc, if
that could be so called) is DOS 6 InterLink. Free in DOS 6, but
runs on almost any DOS. Is a remote-file-access system. which is
more flexible than LapLink, which is a file-copying system.
PcAnywhere is a remote-control system, therefore difficult to
combine the two systems' disks under.
In any case, the cable is a Laplink / InterLink cable. They
come in two types - parallel and serial. Parallel is several times
faster than even fastest serial.
