Hi, subject prettywell says it all, am looking for P90 motherboard for my clone P.C., and it should have the following qualities.. 1) Most important.. must be RELIABLE (difficult I know, but some are better than others) and must run all software thrown at it - DOOM is a must :-)) (P.C. software that is). 2) Must support standard 72 pin SIMMS as well as EDO RAM 3) All on-board I/O must be disable-able (i.e. say a serial port goes phut [not unheard of :-) ] I would like to bung in a multi I/O card as a fix). 4) Should support at least mode 3 IDE and 4 drives with LBA. 5) Should have either AMI or Phoenix BIOS. 6) (this applies to the INTEL ENDEAVOUR) Can the SB16 VIBRA be disabled or removed altogether? as I'm using a SB16 SCSI 2 for my CD-ROM drive. 7) Must have at least 4 ISA & 3 PCI slots available - NOT shared! 8) Ideally support pipeline burst cache. 9) Preferably support processor speeds up to 133mHz, and have VRM facilities for the next generation of Intel P6's. Can anyone give me their experiences with various makes?
