In the last year I've sent in a lot of rebates. I've kept records of
when I sent them and when I received them. The only two I showed not
received were Belkin products. I called the 800 number and they told
me that they had a record of me receiving checks. That could be so.
It's hard for me to dispute because I'd have to prove a negative. The
good news was that the two rebates were fairly small. Still, I'm not
comfortable with the fact that the only problems I had were with the
same company. However, if there's a pattern here with the experience
of others, there may be some recourse.

You can request a record of the cancelled checks.  If you are sure you did
not get the rebate, check your records at the bank.  If they don't have a
record of it, sue them and rake in the punitive damages.  I'm usually
anti-lawsuit, but sometimes, they deserve it bad.
