I think they need to re-examine how someone who decides to buy > a SCSI system actually uses it. Try CD burner in the near future, server for a LAN, 8 hot swappable drive bays, Canon slide scanner, fast backup device, 2 CD-ROM's need I go on? I notice that many IDE owners seek to debunk SCSI in favour of (what the hell it's called, oh yes,) UltraDMA which supports a MAXimum if 4 devices which are either hard disks or CD-ROM's. The occasional ZIP drive may creep in but IDE CD burners are too crap to mention (breathe and it f***s the data flow). TB (who HAS used IDE cd-buners and who has seen a disc mangled for no real reason)
