Why? it's simply performance. EZ-135 is about 2-4 times : >faster than ZIP. : If you want to talk price/performance, try an 850mb HD with MUCH : higher transfer rates than the EZ for the same price. If you want to talk price/performance, perhaps we should all go back to floppies. I've got it a floppy disk storage array!!!! If you want to talk about whatever makes ZIP good and EZ not, talk to this guy. Give it a rest, man. The EZ has better specs for a slightly higher price. Its a well made product with a good, fast interface via standard PC cabling. Every time somebody makes a point about why they like the EZ, you have some comeback. Its a good product, ZIPs a good product, Syquest may go out of business, ZIP may become the standard. Microsoft Windows has become the "standard" and I think that the lack of competition has been bad for us all. : Robert Pope : Primal Scream / Terraformer : Organization & Business : ropope@vt.edu -- Steve Owens Phone: 206-487-8491 GTE Government Systems FAX: 206-487-8368 Network Management Organization e-mail: sowens@nmo.gtegsc.com
