I received my 1 gig jaz drive yesterday (internal, scsi) and had no significant problem installing it. It comes with everything you need except a power Y. Strange that those are not included since its a $0.05 item that one pays $4. for at radio shack. I used my existing Adaptec 1542cf controller
and old scsi cable. The scsi cable that comes with jaz looks nice but i didn't need it. The one jaz
disk that comes with the unit has 375 megs worth of "jaz tools" on it. That's I lot of something!

When I powered up into win95 the jaz was immediately recognized and available. The instructons
say to use a 3.5 floppy, supplied, and double click on "GUEST". I think thats wrong for the scsi. I
rebooted and just went to the jaz tools on the jaz drive and d-clicked on setup. Everything works.

Also I had no trouble mounting the jaz as an msdos partition under linux.
